Cookie policy

This page explains which cookies and similar technologies www.aura-villas.com uses, what they do and how you control them. It complements our Privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. “Local storage” is a similar mechanism that stores small pieces of information in your browser without sending them to a server. Both can be deleted at any time through your browser settings.
2. What we use
By default this website sets no cookies at all. It stores two items in your browser’s local storage so the site works as you expect:
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| aura-consent | Remembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies | Strictly necessary | Until you delete it |
| aura-a11y | Remembers your accessibility toolbar settings (text size, contrast, etc.) | Functional, no personal data | Until you delete it |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4: anonymous statistics on pages visited, with your IP address truncated | Analytics, only after “Accept all” | 2 years |
3. Third-party services
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends its IP address to Google when a page loads; Google does not set cookies for this. Links to Google Maps open the Google website, which applies its own cookie policy. If you accept optional cookies, Google Analytics is loaded and may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
4. How to control cookies
When you first visit, the banner lets you choose “Accept all” or “Only necessary”. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; the site keeps working without optional cookies. To opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, Google offers a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
